SAB Lawn & Landscaping Inc was founded by owner Stephen A. Borcherding of McLean, Virginia. The landscaping company originally started as “The Lawn Service” in 1979. Initially, the company offered mostly maintenance, light landscaping, light tree work, and several odd jobs.
Today, we provide a number of services to our customers, including tree care services, landscaping, lawn care, firewood delivery, property maintenance, loader services, material delivery, snow removal, and more.
Our exceptional firewood delivery services provide utmost convenience to our customers. We match the individual specifications mentioned by each customer. We provide good quality firewood to all. Our quality firewood delivery services are available at an affordable rate. We work with complete diligence to serve the best to all our customers. Our expert team is always ready to serve!
We specialize in the sale and delivery of seasoned firewood. Our firewood is a split mixture of hardwood – mostly oak with a small mixture. The length of the firewood ranges between 15″- 20″.

$200 for 1/2 cord
$275 for 1 cord
Prices valid until sold out. Prices include the cost of delivery and dump in driveway services.
Deliveries are scheduled between Monday to Thursday only. However, there is no specific time for delivery. We place the firewood on the driveway on the location specified by the customers. We can place the firewood on the right or left side of the driveway, or close to the garage, fence, or the gate.
We provide delivery services in Sterling, Ashburn, Herndon, Great Falls, McLean, Vienna, Oakton, and limited areas of Fairfax. If your location falls outside these areas, an extra delivery fee will be charged. Call us for more details.
At SAB Lawn & Landscaping Inc, we also provide stacking services. Stacking is available by an hourly rate of $45 per man per hour.
Average for stacking a ½ cord is $25 to $45 and can go up to $45 to $90 for full cord stacking. The final price depends on access and distance traveled from the driveway.
Our trucks do not leave gravel on paved surfaces of your home, ensuring complete tidiness in our work.
We accept payments before the delivery is to be made. We accept cash and checks from our customers.
